Not sure who specifically you mean, but there's a difference between being willing to give kids a second chance versus saying the world is too sensitive if you can't say "smack TF (the f***) out of her" without consequence.

And you and everyone else would have been just fine with that as long as we kept beating everyone that stepped on the court with us. I love how everyone hates Cal now, arena was packed watching and cheering for Jeremy.

You shouldn't threaten anyone and a man certainly should not threaten a woman. However, given what she did to his room and that the *&^% was not actually smacked out of her, I think kicking him off the team is extreme. But, this is Chris Jones we are talking about and this is also a post-Ray Rice world. I do have to imagine that there's more going on, though.

I keep wondering what her motive was to show the text message--fear? revenge? [shrug].

Stuff changes, though. When I heard that Cal pardoned our guys for beating on their women, part of my support for those guys got weirded out.

But hey, it was once OK to do many things that are not OK now...like draw and quarter hang disembowel and emasculate the same person till he died....up untill 1870 it was the preferred method of justice--and 145 years wasn't so long ago.
