Fire both coaches. The only reason for RU to be this bad in lax is the admin allowing it to happen. The coaches have proven that they can not get it done here. Now the admin needs to call an end to this madness.

I've given up hope on the season. After a couple of near misses early in the year, Rutgers has taken a nosedive.

Rutgers women win at Michigan, 7-6.

I was wrong about the women's tournament. There will be two play-in games to start the tournament on Thursday. First up is Michigan playing Northwestern, followed by Rutgers against Ohio State.

The men's tournament will be as was posted on yesterday:

Why not have play in games for the men's tournament as well? Seems odd that the men and women are using two different formats despite both leagues being the same size.

B1G upset in the men's semifinals as Ohio State knocks out Maryland, 9-6. The Buckeyes will now face Johns Hopkins on Sunday to see who wins the first Big Ten Lacrosse tournament championship. Hopkins defeated Penn State, 14-9 in the first semifinal game.

Meanwhile, in the women's tournament play-in games, Northwestern beats Michigan, 13-9 and Ohio State defeats Rutgers, 17-7. Northwestern will now face Penn State in the semifinals. Ohio State faces Maryland in the other semifinal game. Both will be shown tomorrow on BTN.

I think the women's tournament had play-in games to maybe get some people out from Rutgers, which was hosting. Who knows?

Ohio State was impressive in knocking off Maryland in one women's semifinal. Penn State won the other semi to face off against the Buckeyes in the title game.

I think the women's action has been more compelling than the men's.

Hopkins win the Big Ten tournament! And not a moment too soon as they most likely needed that AQ. Now it's wait-and-see for Maryland and Ohio State to see if they get at-large berths.

A terrific year for the Big 10 and Maryland taking the Men's 2015 Lacrosse national title. This is a sport that has tremendous potential. My old HS of about 400 students now has a Lacrosse program which never would have been on anyone's mind when I attended. Good on Maryland!

While I wish this was true. The women's team won the national championship. The men lost to Denver in the championship game.
