It could very well be helping him get some notice from other schools. But, he does still have two more years of high school. We jumped on Brian Rowsom. And look how that ended up. He's a coaches kid, which could be a plus in the long run.

Rowsom was 6'9, not sure how big he was when they offered but surely more than 5'10.

Interesting thought, I mean, we have already had a mediocre ACC program come before in Wake, worth giving up a scolly for?

Not a great reason to me to burn one unless he can actually play at this level. You have to figure he would be a smart player for sure but does his game translate?

I had read elsewhere that Broughton is supposed to be much better next year and they're counting on KJ to be a big part of that. They also are getting a kid transferring from Ravenscroft.

I'm not mad about KJ getting an offer, but I'm as confused as everyone else. I have my on theory on how this will play out, but it's based on nothing other than my own imagination.
