That's the thing that just infuriates me. I know myself and many other Christians feel frustration because all you hear about from the White House is the hate, bigotry and misunderstanding of gays, peace loving Muslims, illegal aliens and some segments of the African American community. What you don't hear from the White House is that same compassion and concern for the thousands of people around the world that are being systematically butchered, slaughtered, murdered, executed, etc., (insert the appropriate word) precisely because they are Christians. Many of those being tortured and killed also happen to be civilian women and children. The POTUS goes out of his way to NOT mention anything specific with regard to Christianity with the exception of a negative slant of the freegin' Crusades that happened over a millennia ago. This is how sad things have gotten: I'll settle for just an acknowledgment and condemnation from the POTUS of the hate and bigotry against Christians that is at an all time high in this country and throughout the world. Have a plan to deal with it? Another matter. Just admit the truth...for once!

Christians should not be immune from the political arena, and quite frankly, we should have a target on our backs if we are doing what we believe to be true because the world says otherwise. My argument is focused on the heinous acts committed specifically against Christians and the POTUS lack of acknowledgement of these facts. Jimmy Swaggart, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell this is not. We're talking about the systematic elimination of a group because of the religion that they practice. Dismembering children is beyond human decency and I can only imagine what the POTUS would say publicly if this was done to one of the "protected" groups he supports.

My comment was to UC regarding here at home. I think you guys are making a big to do about the 21. They are killing EVERYBODY over there not a Sunni Muslim. Read that Atlantic article.
