A very LONG way down. But hey, the fun is the competition and excitement, regardless of the level or the circumstances. If you only have fun when you are in first place, then you are not likely to have fun very often.

We are actually tied for 7th with Texas State, since App State cannot go to post season tournament.

Yeah, I forgot about that. That much better. But we need to keep rolling now, because our last three games will be tough.

Well put. As a fan, it's fun and exciting scrambling for a "playoff" spot. I remember as a kid and teenager it was a "big deal" when the Rangers made the NHL playoffs. They finally won the Cup again many, many years after I left New York. I guess I've never been a big fan of a "frontrunner". Not sure I would really enjoy being a Kentucky (BB) or Alabama (football) fan. Would I continue being as big a UALR fan if they won the league every year? Probably (although I might get quite bored with it), but I doubt it's something I'm ever going to have to worry about.

The odds are pretty good that you'll never have to worry about Little Rock's team winning the league every year. It would be nice if they'd win it outright just once.

No, we have never won it outright since joining the Sun Belt. Of course, the hogs have never won the SEC outright in football, either, since joining the SEC. Winning your conference is not that easy, unless you are Kentucky basketball or Kansas basketball.
