Things will get better down there. They've been so close in a lot of their games that will turn into W's next year. They have a solid coach and some really nice young talent. They could also be a surprise team in Baltimore this year.

RE: Chareston Pregame Banter
They held W&M to ZERO offensive rebounds, and ZERO second chance points until about 3 minutes left in the game last week. Their coach came as a Brownell assistant, and he came to Brownell after a long stint at Wichita St.
They know how to defend and rebound. And, as much as CG wants to downplay the return of Anthony Stitt as PG, he came back and assisted on 5 scores, as CoC broke 80 points for the first time in CAA play, and only the second time all year against W&M. If they can cut the TO's they had against us last time, and defend like they did they will be a tough out. Not a good matchup for the Hawks'.
We haven't lost two in a row in the CAA so far, so hopefully we can keep that up.

They're a very Jekyll and Hyde team on offense. How do you put up 80 against W&M then just 45 against Drexel? They always play us very tough so I'm expecting a similar type of game as the last time around.

The majority of coaches in the CAA will put C of C 3rd in terms of talent. They are adjusting to a new style of play along with their new coach. Keatts has displayed a special talent getting our guys to buy in so early.
I'm so glad Canyon Barry cut his hair. If your going to play with long hair, then let it fly freely, but the headband is better suited for his sister.

Keatts thinks C of C is the most talented team in the league. Especially now that they've gotten their senior point guard back.

I like his attitude about not over estimating anyone. He always has the best to say about the competition. He's a classy coach.
