Steve related that Devonte would not be coming back to the team due to personal issues. He will finish school and get his degree which is the most important thing. He provided us with more than a year and half of exciting play on the basketball court. My wife was pretty upset about the news, but we wish him the best.

Sometimes life gets in the way of basketball. But Devonte has been a valued member of the Trojan family and will always be considered in that manner. Best of luck to the young man in his future.

To be honest, while he had some spurts, I don't think Devonte played as well as he did last season. Probably issues in his personal life effected his play.
