What are the expectations of this new board
When I say expectations, I mean what do you guys want to see or not see. One of my biggest pet peeves is hijacked threads. I would love to see each thread stay on topic as much as possible. I would also like to keep the complete nonsense out of threads that happens so often on the "other" Liberty site. What are your expectations?

Agreed. When participating on other sites, especially the SBC, when LU was in the hunt for an active SBC invite, we were often derailed or hijacked by the LU haters. This is one of the most valid reasons to have our own forum, that others can visit. As we have not had in the past a place to voice our comments, we have one now. Our moderator will be able to keep our board open, with civil agreement and disagreement, and take the actions needed, as all other board mods do, to keep the site active and serving it's purpose.

I don't mind opposing opinions, but I do expect civility.

With this post, I got the strong visual image of Will Ferrell, with his short shirt exposing his belly button, banging on a cowbell with a drumstick, and Christopher Walken emerging from the control room, as the sleazy record producer, encouraging Ferrell for "more cowbell". Curtis, that was very funny. Thanks for the chuckle.

Yeah I think respect is a big thing. Anyone can say what they want and there can be disagreements but I think it is important to attack the message and not the messenger.
