I don't know how Tommy and Co. did it - but I am impressed. Whitehurst looks great out there and is slicing our defense apart, throwing beautiful spirals with excellent pass protection. I am envious and have found respect for Tommy Bowden - I doubt many Clemson fans will ever see what a great coach they had for a while.

There's a rumor out there that Steve Spurrier bought a 2.5 million dollar home in Clemson. Might just be the scenery of the Seneca River and proximity to the mountains, but no one knows right now.

Yeah, one of the rumors I read about in the paper concerning of Stevie was that he might be the next coach at UNC. But I can't see Clemson getting rid of Tommy after the year he's had - to finally beat his dad and to blow away USC was GREAT for Clemson. Now Lou Holtz on the other hand didn't have such a great year... maybe Stevie just wants to live in Clemson and coach at USC

It's amazing how fickle fans are sometimes...one minute they hate Tommy Bowden and are ready to run him out of town, then he dominates FSU and USC and they want him to have a 5 year contract extension.

How true. If you are a fan of a school, you should stand by that school thru thick and thin times. After all, no one is perfect... :D
