App State Football is already practicing
Went out today on a 60 degree (!!!) day in Boone with no clouds and watched the Apps practice for two hours. The first practice was Saturday, the second-earliest in all FBS. Duke started on Friday.

We're practicing until the first week on March. We're going full shells on Wednesday.

Still wish we'd wait until spring for spring practice, but it's good to see them out there.

They want to take full advantage of new S&C staff. By finishing early they will uninterrupted access to their services and more time to heal any injuries.

The basic idea is that they don't want all the S&C gains up until a April spring practice to be lost.

There's also going to be player-led practices in April.

South did this a few years ago. The reasoning was it would give the guys longer to recover from possible injuries before fall practice started.

that's one of our coach's reasons as well, along with 4 uninterrupted months with S&C to get bigger/stronger.

Could of had a blue bird day at Beech and you spend it watching practice. Not a game, we're talking about practice. 04-rock

Too warm to ski. I don't like skiing in slush.

It's NC, it's either ice or slush, you got to pick your poison.

Looks like a nice weekend to be in High Country. Wish I was there instead of Omaha!

It was a good weekend. Nice basketball win on Saturday and warm enough to sneak out and play a few holes today.
