What's in store the rest of the season?
Let's just assume we win all the remaining six games of the regular season. That will be a season record of 15-14 and a conference record of 10-9. Now that means winning against Ga Southern, Ga State and UTA, two of which are on the road. In addition we'll have to beat App State and Troy, both on the road. So four of our last six games are on the road against some good competition. I believe we might win two of those six games. Three might be stretching it. So let's be optimistic and say we win three of the last six. Now we're 12-17 for the season and 7-12 in conference. Maybe we'll make the conference tournament by the skin of our teeth. If we make it, we'll probably be the 8th seed. Very doubtful we could get past the first game. Scenario not too bright.03-hissyfit

Until we put a streak together, I am assuming we do not make the tournament. But if we play like we did last night, who knows?

We have winnable games against AppSt, Troy, and ASU. If we win those, that may be enough to get us in since we'd own he tie-breakers. One good thing- because of the format, if we finish 8th, we would play the 5 seed instead of the 1 seed like in the typical format. That may well be a winnable game. Next would be the 4 seed and we would have a win under our belt. Probably would end the next night against #1, but it would be nice to go down there and win 2 games.

But, realistically our odds of getting in are at best 50-50, and that may be stretch.
