It's hard to look at losing seasons and find value. But these two guys are among he best to play at UNCW. Under different circumstances, they would no doubt be in consideration as all time greats.
As much as Tomko would drive me crazy in trying to win by himself, he was a baller. And in retrospect, he really had no talent around him besides Rendleman. More often than not, he had to break a press by himself, plus score.
His first year, he had TJ, Vlad, Hendley and Fountain starting with him. And as a Freshman, he led the team in steals. That team won 20 games, and played in the CAA finals.
The next year he had Johnny Wolf, Montez Downey, Kevon Moore, Dominique Lacy, Josh Sheets, Jerel Stephenson.
Third Year - Rendleman, John Fields, Ahmad Grant, Johnny Wolf, Lacy, Trevor DeLoach
, Matt Wilson
Final year - Milson, DeLoach, Rendleman, Wilson, Ahmad Grant, Donte Morales, Darryl Felder
Beyond Rendleman, he really had no help.
And as far as Rendleman goes, his numbers equal and exceed Rowsom in many categories.
