For the first time in over 2 decades, UAB fans will not be waiting for the signatures of promising high school athletes to roll in on the UAB fax machine. We will have no reception scheduled for the G&G Room in Bartow Arena for 6 pm that night to hear the coaches evaluate the new talent.

All of this and so much more has been taken from us by the actions of a few powerful men.

I'll be too busy painting my "Bear is Ashamed" and "Indict Fess" signs.

Maybe we should flood UA fax machines with FREE UAB on National Signing Day. Would probably make headlines.

I find events I don't care about pretty easy to ignore.

Signing day? What's that?

I'll go ahead and admit that I'll be down in the dumps..........signing day was always like my 2nd Christmas. Hopefully, the NCAA will let us back-count those 25 lost (2015) scholarships in 2016!

Actually you paid very little attention to the football team. However, I suspect that you paid a lot of attention to basketball recruiting. Nothing wrong with that - it just how it is.

I suspect that they fax machines set on unpublished numbers for their recruits to use. Now if we could figure out what those numbers are.....

Of course sending FreeUAB faxes to the number above would use up a lot of paper.

The day of the Black Fax Attack belongs to the last century: remember, the Trustees approve any and all funding for UAT Football, even stuff they don't want, so they have fax technology not even released to the general public yet. Our goal would be for news media to report that "Nick Saban received 122 letters of intent from six-star recruits, and 30,000 FreeUAB messages through direct-to-brain input."

No. I don't pay much attention to recruiting period. I paid attention to football during football season. I don't know why you think you are an expert on what I think.

I hope nobody does this, IMO this is a terrible idea. We would not get positive publicity from this. We would probably lose allies that will be needed to fight this. The fight is against the BOT not UAT.
