Good move by him, he still gets his tuition basically paid for with academic scholarships and he gets to live his dream.

With his grades I doubt he will pay much if anything at all. I am sure the he will get plenty of money and the football program has people who will help him get every bit he is qualified for. I understand, it was his dream to play for UT and he has chance.

I understand, too. As long as you get a good education, by all means follow your heart. That was more directed at UT, who clearly just landed a young man with heart.

Best of luck to him, it's where his heart wanted to be. Can't blame him for that.
