The worst six years since the Great Depression.
And like the Great Depression, the economic recovery was slowed by liberal economic policy.

It is the result of the incompetence of both gangs in power. They are both responsible for creating bubbles in the economy over decades long use of Keynesian policies. These policies...while stabilizing in the short run, make busts take much longer to recover from. Meddling with the natural business cycle is the blame for most of our economic problems. Obama is one in many leaders responsible for this folly.

But there's no question that libs & socialists are far bigger proponents of Keynesian policies than conservatives & Tea Partiers.

Tea Party/Libertarian leaning...Sure. Conservatives...not so much now. Of course we are generalizing. The whole paradigm of labels have changed. The GOP of Goldwater is not the GOP of today. Just like the Democrats of Kennedy are not the Democrats of today. Both parties IMO shifted left over the past decades. One more than the other.

That would presume that either side knows what Keynesian Econ actually says. How many people do think have read the General Theory? Did you know that Keynes says that after the govt injection of money turns the economy around that it is essential for those funds to be recovered? That presents a conundrum that most politicians are loathe to enact.

Yes, I'm fully aware of what Keynes said.
The growth of government is unstoppable. There's nothing we can do to avoid the eventual economic meltdown. Let's just ride it out and hope it doesn't occur in our lifetime.

Yes..but that is the flaw of Keynesian theory. It expects bureaucrats to follow it.
