Transfers, JuCo's, and a few midterm enrollees
Hearing of perhaps a JuCo, a transfer from MTSU, and some other transfer mid term enrollees.
Anyone have names since there's not been anything released?

Didn't you mention in the recruiting thread that Austin Herink is transferring from MTSU?

I'd heard but have no way of confirming enrollment. There are apparently others.

Torbush is not a big fan of JuCo transfers. I agree with him.

The good ones aren't. You don't get em for long enough and academics tend to be an issue.

Haven't heard anything. If we get some, we get some, if we don't, we don't.

RE: Transfers, JuCo's, and a few midterm enrollees
This is why I'm annoyed about this. These young men that chose to transfer to ETSU could've gone probably 50 or so different schools. Instead, they chose to come to ETSU and build a foundation. They shouldn't have been lumped in with the high school signees, these guys deserve their own press release with breakdowns and bios. And not just for them, for future transfers. It's so damn backwards that ETSU didn't send this out the very second these guys' enrollments were verified on campus. It's not a violation, it's not a compliance issue. Once they're enrolled at the university, they can be discussed publicly. I mean think about it, both the kid from MTSU and UAB were on FBS BOWL ELIGIBLE teams, and chose to come to a school that hasn't played a meaningful down of football in 12 years. Hell yea they should've been pubbed, and pubbed big time. There might be other FBS transfers out there who would be interested in coming to ETSU in the future.
I'm not blaming the bald genius on this one, this falls on higher ups and probably those two deputy doofs in compliance. How in the hell we ended up with a guy that crapped the bed like he did at Radford is beyond me. Almost as bad as when Stansbury hired Barbie's dumb*** after losing 100 games at App and getting stranded on the side of the road in Mississippi to be the SWA while he getting his house listed on the market to get out of town.
In short, get it together, guys. If you're not sure what to do, look at the successful programs and just do what they do.
