5-1, amazing! It's incredible how much Haase has improved as a basketball coach since conference play started.

How many blocks did Lee have tonight?

Lee with 3, Mehinti with 2, Cokely and Baxter both with 1

according to ESPN, Lee had 3 blocks and Mehinti two. Mehinti had nine rebounds and Lee 7. Lee had 11 pts and Mehinti 5.

I knew he was an athletic freak but he is very talented. I had no idea he could shoot as well as he does. He also has a nice all around game.

I actually think Haase can coach contrary to what some others believe. He normally makes good halftime adjustments and often draws up successful plays coming out of timeouts. I don't think Roy Williams speaks so highly of him purely because they are friends. I think Roy knows Haase has a long future in coaching.

I've always said this. It's hard to coach when you don't have players who fit your system. People always forget that first year that Haase started with no time to recruit and just pulled in a few guys who were likely coming here anyway. Faz was a center for Davis, clearly he isn't a center in the system Haase wants to run.(don't believe that? Look at what he has now.) last year was the end of that disaster, and this year is the beginning of the Haase era. If we continue to play well, it's hard to see anybody leaving(which we are all concerned about) other than some guys buried on the bench. We have some damn good freshmen though, in excited to see them in a year or two.

On a side note, did Cokley play in the second half yesterday?
