yep, you stated you don't have kids....

hence, you are kid.....

it's the question though, are people having sex deemed too mature but people killing other people is not? that's all i'm asking

fair enough....I don't understand why the question would be asked.....it's beyond my scope on understanding....

very well. how about conundrum?

well done but is rare (the way I like it) 03-wink 04-cheers

edit: to provide better perspective.....sodomy is just dandy in my realm....as long as I don't have kiddies wanting titties and cok on the boob-tube 03-wink murder is NEVER welcome....

hannah montana was kind at one point.....

like bill cosby and happy days.....

it's inescapable now....

that's the 'why' the question is moot....

ah, the relativity of technology....it works both ways.....

RE: sex vs. violence
Neither one is good. There was a time when cinema didn't need to be so graphic to get the point across. I don't really have an issue of either topic being portrayed but IMHO we've crossed a line regarding cinema sex and violence years ago. The time of night more "controversial shows" air is not nearly as late as it once was either. Maybe I'm just old fashioned.

why are we so uncomfortable with allowing sex on television? television that our children can watch. why are depictions of sex regulated to an r rating? i'm not talking about the back alley tug or the androgynous whore who has five holes. i'm talking about two people who love each other genuinely and they bone.

i'm not a violence prude, i just feel the restrictions on cinema of sexual nature shouldn't be forbidden. titties and dicks should be floppin'. or is that too european?

I am sure kids watch porn via internet. And there is plenty of "sex" on TV, called adult channels. Many people don't think ultra violent stuff on TV is ok for kids, likewise with porn.

but you see, it's forbidden. obviously i'm not talking about

why cannot casual sex be ok?

Parents or Guardians who encourage and allow minors to watch porn (or whatever you want to call it) are probably committing a crime/felony, depending on what state you live in.

c'mon superfly. that's pretty lame. i spelled out what i called it. it's not just about the sex. i'm of the opinion that if we can see people getting killed, we should at least be able to see some titties. there's a double standard when it comes to sex and violence. the ultimate act of violence is death. the ultimate act of love is sex. what is more precious? what is more pure?

You keeping moving the goalposts. First it is it should be ok for kids to watch porn with their Parents, and then it is it should be ok to see tits (as in a tit flops out in an R movie).
Big difference between the 2.

but it's not really the point. i did get lost in that. i'm more concerned about the lack of the titty and endless display of violence

my daughter is 15.....I can't tell you how often I cringe.....

selling sex is not new.....selling violence isn't either.....

it was just more subliminal back in the day regarding both....

it's tough to watch today's style of movie making or tv productions....especially when one is trying to find shared entertainment....

it sucks what kids are being presented at such a young age.....

'they' are stealing their childhood from them......that's simply fkd-the-******-the-fk-up!

You have an endless array of adult channels on cable or satellite, it is everywhere.

Are you really having trouble in a quest to see titties?

of course media sex is terrible. tabloids obliviously are garbage. people fawn over that tripe. that's not the sex i'm talking about. but of the current blockbusters, in the posters, how many of the hero's are wielding guns? i'm just about getting priorities in check

ha! no. i've got a nice rack

welp. i got some answers. naked people and sex is still forbidden, but violence, so so. to be clear, if i had kids, i wouldn't want them watching two people bone, but wouldn't put up a fight if they wanted to watch goodfellas with me. it was just a paradox i put upon myself

Somewhat on the subject of this post was the incredulous statement of actor Liam Neeson spouting off that there are too many guns in America, while his three Taken movies have been nothing less than a mass slaughter at his character's hands with a firearm. Just exposes the total hypocrisy again of Hollywood's elitist Libs.
