Interesting. A Washington Post article says that ESPN is using its market power to cram conference networks down the throats of cable outfits. A reluctant Iowa cable company has to carry the SEC network in order to carry ESPN.

Football may sell 40 to 100 plus tickets per game but basketball has over 3 times more home games. Here at louisville basketball tickets are more expensive than football also.
