I watch sports, news, and documentaries. I'd rather watch CSPAN than any sitcom.
Have you seen Criminal Minds? That is actually pretty good.

Perhaps you need to expand your palate if you think watching CSPAN is better than The Walking Dead, or Justified, or even Mad Men (not a fav of mine).
Note: I know you said sitcoms. Doesn't matter, IMO.

So is diarrhea. So is vomiting. So is masturbation.
There is nothing "tasteful" or "artistic" about portraying any of these activities on film.
So we're to pretend like they don't exist?
Everybody poops bro. You'd apparently be horrified by international cinema.
So if we don't enjoy people shitting, vomiting and masturbating on film then we are pretending these things don't exist.
You have to be the dumbest MF'er of all time for posting that nonsense.

You enjoy watching homosexuals make out?
9 times out of 10 it has zero bearing on the story. That goes for straight sex scenes too. There's really very little reason for that to be on television, IMO. Call me a "prude" or old fashioned... I really don't care.
Sex is a natural part of life. I have no problem with it being represented on tv. Tastefully. Admittedly our bars are placed differently.
So is taking a dump or a leak, that doesn't mean I want to see it on tv.

I'm with Crystal. I am also not a fan of gratuitous sex on TV. If that is what is needed to keep my attention?...Someone is doing a very bad job of writing and acting the plots. For me?...What is "not seen" and "not said" is often times much more interesting than it being shown or verbalized.

By hiding basic parts of life from news, media, cinema, tv, discussion, you are basically pretending they don't exist.
If that concept escapes you well:

Sorry that you're too immature to handle them. Maybe Big Bang Theory is more your speed.

So now if we don't enjoy watching people defecate and vomit on TV then we are "immature".
You really are a F-ed up MF'er.

I just don't think it needs to be on television. That doesn't mean "pretending they don't exist."
If you really believe some of the nonsense you write here, you're a fool. I don't know any other way to state it.

Yep, I think the last series where I just had to watch it every week was Lost.
I'm a TV grazer when I have the time to surf the cable channels. An occasional Shark Tank, Locked Up Abroad or American Greed doc usually draws me in.

Then change the channel and move on. But I'll continue to think it makes you a sheltered prude.
