Good win by the Green Wave men's basketball team today. Bring on the rest of the AAC for our first year in the conference!

Maybe 2 legit D1 players on the squad. I hope Sampson hasn't underestimated how hard it's going to be to get even respectable again.

RE: Tulane 68 Houston.
When every single big man left our roster so late in the recruiting process---this was the kind of season I was afraid we might have. We have no centers and no legit power forwards. It is what it is. It went from adding a solid coach to a decent talent base to a total rebuild when House, Thomas, and the big kids in the recruiting class all left. Hopefully, next year we can bring in some size and get back to being competitive. Considering the huge size disadvantage we play every game with, its fairly impressive that we have been able to keep most of our games reasonably close. Our coach is for real. We just need to give him time to rebuild the roster.

RE: Tulane 68 Houston.
Looking forward to former Rice assistant and now Tulane baseball head coach David Pierce well known in Texas baseball circles going head to head with the University of Houston in the upcoming AAC season! Is the three game series in New Orleans or Houston? I hope Houston and Rice will invite us to the annual tournament in the Astro Stadium in Houston as we have been there before and really enjoy the trip and atmosphere!
