Things in common: Both have very selective academic standards.
Both have two big public state P5 Universities in their states they have to compete with. Both have no wrestling programs in areas of the country where wrestling is big. Both are kind of Midwestern. Differences: Notre Dame has about 100,000 fans at their football games, Tulsa has about 15,000. Notre Dame plays on NBC and gets paid around 3 million per game to do it. Tulsa plays on espn news/espnU for about 300k per game. Tulsa and Notre Dame do have a little history though: Tulsa won in South Bend a few years back.
