AN EARLY LOOK TO FCS 2015
Quote:Number 13. Liberty (9-5; No. 17) - The returning list of seniors on offense is impressive, including the likes of quarterback Josh Woodrum, running back D.J. Abnar, wide receiver Darrin Peterson, lineman Jonathan Burgess and long-range place-kicker John Lunsford. Coach Turner Gill's squad will need it for a schedule that includes two FBS opponents - West Virginia and Georgia State - and three likely Top 25 teams coming to Lynchburg in Montana, James Madison and Coastal Carolina. The defense must regroup after plenty of key losses, but defensive tackle Chima Uzowihe is a good start.

2015 will be LU's most aggressive schedule. One can be optimistic with the upturn experienced this past year and with the returning players for this year. If LU beats Georgia State, that will bode well with the FBS watch. Coastal, JMU and Montana should be toss up games and fortunately LU has them as home games. This year LU will set new season and individual game attendance records smashing the old ones. This is going to be a fun year.

The JMU game could easily have 25,000 in attendance.

Can we fit 25K in the stadium, even on the grassy hill? That would be a great number to get. We will have record breaking attendance this year if we are winning. It could be another step forward for LU.

I'm guessing we could get 25k+ with the grass knoll full. A App St friend says Montana travels well. Coastal has a modest travel group. The big benefit will be this should simulate talk to expand the seating capacity.
