Probably. Voters are fickle with the teams at the bottom of the poll.

They are considered underdogs by smart people, Vegas. Dumb people, the writers, would not consider 22 Ohio St and 23 Arkansas underdogs at Minnesota and Georgia respectively. They will fall out of the top 25 with losses, as they should. 24 St. John's will fall out even with a loss to 8 Villanova as it would be their third consecutive loss.

Very good point. Here I am actively yelling at my t.v. screen, for a game I otherwise never have turned on or even given a second glance to in the morning sports pages recaps.

When the Monarchs have a good season, I become a big basketball fan.

Minnesota's #15 Walker lost it. He face guards on every rebound rather than boxing out. Never seen anything like it.

Minnesota and UGA both easily could have won.

#24 St John's loses to Nova. Neither #22 or #23 ended up losing but #23 Ohio State plays at Indiana on the 10th and #22 Arkansas plays Vandy on the 10th as well.

Tonight I could see any of Baylor, Seton Hall, or VCU losing their games.

Each are ranked ahead of us.

Hate aside, it would be better for us if VCU won since that would catapult Davidson (10-2) who gave UVA a decent game in to the rankings and VCU would still get ranked even if Shaka dropped a deuce on the doorstep of every voter.

St. Johns losing has to help us. But its all for nothing if we don't win the next two. We could actually climb a spot or two if we win these two games. Thats pretty cool! So do you guys think the team has extra swagger or extra pressure as a result of the national ranking? I'm glad Marshall is first, though I'd like to be rested with more time to prepare for WKU.

at this point all we need to do is win, if VCU losses all the better, we would jump past VCU so I say go Wildcats........
