Prosperous 2015....would mean bringing football back!

....and Watts gone by the middle of January, if not sooner!!

Happy New Year to all of us. Right now, 2015 looks to be a year of adjustments for UAB athletics, and I hope we come out of it as whole as when 2014 began, or even better.

I told my wife, I will buy season tickets to UAB football if we can get this turned around. Hopefully in a new stadium, but I do understand there is a level of priorities.

Do you really think a new stadium could be constructed in time for the 2015 Season even if we turned all else around and Football returned?

Nah, we'd just play at Legion Field for 1-2 more years, but with equal representation on the BOT, construction would probably begin immediately, and the facility would be ready in 2017 if not 2016!

What a change of perspective for UAB fans. Here we are HOPING to get to play football at LEGION FIELD again.

Happy New Year, youse guys and gals...In hopes that the Phoenix rises and UAB gets its football, rifle and bowling teams back and ray watts is bounced out on his ass! For beginners!
