Talking about questionable coaching
Shields substation methods have been beat to death on here, and his choice of not playing Woods last night during crunch time, and then his playing Reid during the same period.

But what about the Cajun's coach? I thought he had blown the game with his decision to slow down the Cajun Express at about the 10 minute mark of the second half. Leading by 14 with ten minutes to go, he held up his hands as they brought the ball into front court, as if to slow it down and start using some clock. The did slow it down, and the result was that they were damn lucky to survive. I've seen it happen too many times, slow a team like Louisiana down and it takes them out of their game. You don't hold a race horse back. The Cajuns didn't look comfortable in a half court game.
