I hate it that people say "UAB killed their football program." UAB didn't kill their football program. Ray Watts and the board of trustees killed the football program.

Hah...the irony is delicious. Alabama didn't want UAB stealing their thunder? Welllll...we just stole their thunder. Sure, they'll probably forget in 12 days when they're in the big game, but you can't deny how the Top 3 would have gone if Watts and, allegedly, the BOT, would have just allowed the program to continue:
3. UAB has massive turnaround season, looks forward to 2015
2. Auburn plays in National Championship game
1. Alabama wins SEC Championship, will play in first-ever college playoff.
Ending UAB's program was like this administration hitting the Titanic...
