I only ask because if it doesn't really change than isn't play that game smarter than playing a Binghamton team who we beat by 30 on the road, but dropped us 15 spots in the RPI.

non-D1 teams have no impact on RPI, its as if the game was never played. For example, EMU is 11-2 but according to RPI they are 7-2. Ironically for Buffalo, playing Binghamton, a D1 team with an RPI of 342 out of 351 negatively impacts Buffalo RPI win or lose, but beating up on your local D3 community college does not.

The MAC should stick with playing D1 teams, plenty to chose from.

Buffalo ends non-conference play with a 92-73 win over Cornell. Shannon Evans follows up his triple-double from Tuesday night with 33 points tonight.. 8-of-11 from 3 was Evans

Yep. If he is out long, this will be a long conference season.

And it was already going to be tough with some of the other MAC teams seemingly stronger this year than last year.

Akron's Robotham goes down with an injury. Hope for their sake he isn't out long.

Nooooo, your guy ASSURED us repeatedly that NIU was a shoo-in to win the West, even in the presence of a dearth of Norwegians.

We lost our top 2 players to injury, we are only a shadow of our true potential now.

Yep, he said that NIU would finish ahead of EMU "for sure, without a doubt" and would challenge Toledo and WMU for the MAC West title. To be fair, a lot of the NIU fans on their board are more realistic, so he's a bit of an outlier. And as the above poster mentioned they've lost arguably their best two players. Just a brutal blow for them, especially if Bowie is out for an extended period of time.

10-0 Weekend

The MAC actually did well against non-FBS D1 schools this year

RE: MAC BBall WK8 (12/28 - 1/3)
And this weekend, 9 of the 10 games were home games.

MAC learned how other conferences get those gaudy OOC records - schedule down and play the games at home. Not that difficult.
