There have been some posts about this 6-6 player that UT recruited as a forward out of Chile/Florida. Not sure if this was posted, but he asked for a release from Hawaii after the coach was fired. He never played in a regular season game. Looking for a new school second semester.

I heard a rumor that they were expecting to bring in a transfer but I doubt it will be him I hoping for someone local.

RE: Sammis Reyes
Some guy just came up to me and asked if I'd heard of Somebody or Other (I had on a Rocket shirt). I said no and he said "You will, 6'8" and coming to UT". Then went on to talk about playing for Bob Nichols. About 5'8" and soft looking. Went on and on about winning the championship under Nichols. Turns out it was a Camp Storer tournament and Nichols and some HS coaches were coaching the campers. Very strange individual but he insisted some 6'8" guy was coming to UT and his bro was going to be a preferred walk-on in football. When I get hot, unconfirmed information from a totally incredible source I make sure you guys get it first. You're welcome.

RE: Sammis Reyes
I saw a young man looking to be hosted by a couple middle aged guys about 12 rows behind the Toledo bench near the aisle at the Robert Morris game. He looked to be 6'8" or better with broad shoulders, and looked like a very athletic guy.

I have no idea what exactly I was seeing, but I am wondering if it is related. ??
