byu oline pushes memphis DE to help a teammate up but in a sore loser way...memphis DE thinks he's being attacked and punches back..fight breaks out

Get ready, Memphis, like after the UC and XU fight in basketball, it will be brought up in every broadcast next year.

I saw Memphis players using their helmets as weapons, ala the FIU v Miami fight a few years ago.

Just awful. These players should be immediately dismissed from the team.

BYU started it to be sure, but Memphis players were totally classless and escalated things. What a SHAMEFUL ending to a great game.

Look at the vid of memphis thug swinging his helmet as a weapon. Hope they press charges. Embarrassing and pathetic.

This game, including the ending, proves that the old saying about BYU being dirty is absolutely true.

Thing is nobody will talk about the result of the game. Everything will be about the fight. Not good.

I agree, and that entire situation was absolutely pathetic. I saw what Xavier did, but the media wanted to label Cincinnati as criminals.

Confirmed via video: Memphis players swinging helmets at BYU players. COuld have severely injured or killed them.

Kick them out of school NOW.

Hopefully BYU and Memphis don't play each other again till both teams have graduated their players. I don't want to know what would happen with all the bad blood they now have.

Not from what I've read on this board. The dude that started the thread has been whining the whole game and of course now brings out the 'thug' comment.

I was rooting for memphis and glad they won. I didn't see any ucf fans rooting against memphis. I feel dirty now tho having rooted for a team full of thugs

Any Memphis player swinging his helmet at a BYU player should be kicked off the team tonight. I have confidence Fuente will do the right thing once he sees the tape
