Anyone thinking of making the drive up to MTSU game in Jan? Slick Pig meet up? Thought I'd post early w/ the holidays rolling around

Calenders,you can get them anywhere.

1/4 is a Sunday. The women, I believe are playing at home. Perhaps we should support them instead?

12/22 in Chat-town seems like a better away game...

Chat is out for me & I'm sure a few more due to it being a weekday game, hence why I asked about MTSU since that is the next weekend game (only away type games I can go to w/ work schedule) that's close by & on a weekend plus we sent a good crowd up there last year.

Had fun last year and at the football game this year. Better go now because CUSA is probably going to be just a fond memory before too long.

What time is tip off?

Can't make MT but will be going to Chatty on Monday.

Is there a bus going to MT or plans for any of the other away games? Seems like we could take a private jet to all the away games with this new allocated cash...

I'd like there to be a bus but given the happening around the athletics program, I don't think there'll be anymore buses for any games this year. Maybe the $1 the OSU kid gave us can be used to help charter one

One of my favorite road games. We should take over The Slick Pig again.

Was that taken at the fb game this year or the basketball trip last year when we rolled in w/ 2 buses & they shut the place down for us to come in?

Based on the coats and sweatshirts and the fact that everyone is wearing UAB, I would say it is the basketball game.

Correct. That was only about a third of the group there. It was packed.

MTSU road trip sounds like a good idea to me. But, Id have to vote for that joint just north of Nashville for the best Q this side of ,,,,,,,, heaven. Guess we will have to go there the next time we play WKU.

Jack's BBQ does have a location near the riverfront part of Nashville along w/ another I'd like to get to (Peg Leg Porker) in the same area that would've been good for the UT game but alas that doesn't look to be happening. A friend told me about Martin's being good & it's along the I440 beltline on south side of town.

Considering this game is NOT televised, I would say I'd be more likely to go to this game than tomorrow's Chattanooga contest...

I'm in for MTSU.

Anyone else planning to go? I'm planning on it & getting to Slick Pig sometime noonish-12:30pm so as to have some time to eat & relax before game

I'm driving up. Leaning more towards Jefferson's for beers sake. SP's smoked wings are amazing and tempting though...
