I like Keatts myself but I also liked Benny and Buzz and thought they had a chance to win.He has the pieces to win games in the CAA and I expect them to finish over .500 and in the top half of the CAA.

We've been burned before, true, but Keatts just has that "it" factor, like he could be a truly special coach. Time will tell but I love our chances to have a winning record this year and become something really solid over time with Keatts in charge.

RE: Video: Greater Wilmington Business Journal presents Kevin Keatts
Keatts has far more goinf for him than any coach we've had in the past.

1. His HS recruiting connections are ridiculous.

2. He has made a name for himself as a top level coach in the HS ranks.

3. He has learned a system from a coach that has a long time, proven winning system. And this system is currently not played by anyone in the CAA.

4. Simply is a great people person. The players play hard for him, recruits like him, and he gets along well in any crowd.

5. He's fairly young.

6. He has the stink of Louisville Cardinals all over him.

I will be stunned if he isn't successful as a head coach.
