1) He is never going to reverse his decision on UAB football.

Maybe, but I think the BOT knows it will have to fire Ray. But they want to wait until the current UAB players are scattered to the 4 winds first. That way IF it comes back, it will have to re-start at ground zero.

They have successfully wrecked the Blazer train. For that, I will fight them until it is restored and properly supported/funded.

He will try to stay on cuz he still needs to fully accomplish his master's bidding. He's murdered football, but there are still plenty of wounds he has yet to inflict on UAB. He's got to undo all the good that Carol Garrison did. They want revenge on her too, as well as Gene Bartow.
