Draft Faculty Resolutions Released
I won't post them here but the resolutions have been released, along with a package that includes formal letters, links to news articles, comments, meeting minutes... damn near everything. And it looks bad for Watts. Very, very bad.

EDIT: I noticed that stc linked to the formal letters and Messina's comments in this thread: http://csnbbs.com/thread-719270.html

Oh, the transcript for Messina's comments were also included.

I'd be VERY surprised if Watts survives this. One of the items noted that out of the 100+ emails senators have received, only 2 or 3 spoke in favor of Watts. Lots and lots of damning info in the packets.

Keep emailing faculty and the senators. Send them the latest info and resolutions (Gardendale, Irondale, Hoover, etc.) passed in support of the football, bowling, and rifle teams.

Oh, and I don't know how big of a deal this is (at least in terms of accreditation since UAB did so well in their off-site review) but the resolution also notes that Watts committed a SACS violation and during his time as president and has repeatedly failed to adhere to the principles of shared governance.
