I think some folks like our chances some...
Two guys at my job are betting EMU...the line is only 13.5 and they have heard/read about Eastern's win over U-M and the close game at Dayton. I work in Des Moines and it is kind of surreal hearing co-workers and basketball junkies talking highly about EMU! I wouldn't touch this game though...I hope MSU shots aren't falling against the zone.

So far they are. We are bothering Dawson in the middle of the zone though. I'll take deep 3 attempts over layups any day.

Offense is still a mess. Nice to see Alvano confidently knock down a three.

We are soooo limited offensively. Making a layup is tough for these guys and Ray Lee...I am getting annoyed by his undisciplined play. Talley, Price, and Ward have to come up big.

Getting ugly. State hot from three. Not the same defensive rotation we saw against Michigan. Could be blow out city if our shots don't start falling.

It's over, no one is going for the offensive rebounds!

When we get out of kilter on offense the defense isn't getting back.

MSU is stout on defense. This is easily the best team we will see all year. Dawson is destroying Ward. Our guards can't get anything going until that 3 from Price.

Price has to get real hot because no one else has any offensive game to speak of.

MSU has a superior offensive system and shooters. EMU as usual has no flow and shoots like crap. The UM win was nice but UM is a bad team.

Bad team compared to who? They are better than anyone in the MAC.

Can't play defense if your feet aren't on the floor!

U-M in retrospect, is looking like Purdue of a couple years ago. Any win over a Big 10 team is nice, especially Michigan but they are not very good and we only scored 45 on them. You just cannot ignore the obvious offensive deficiency. It's pretty glaring. Granted, the EMU zone is going to be devastating against poor shooting MAC teams.
