This is so similar to Heinicke's freshman year. I can't wait to see Lawry over the next three years.

I'm quick to be outraged but am trying to be more diplomatic. With that said, I would have liked to see Taylor Heinicke or Antonio Vaughan as newcomer of the year over Cody Sokol.

The only thing I'm worried about is teams next year focusing more on lawry, since they'll know we don't have heinicke back there. Hopefully which ever qb starts they'll make opposing defenses pay for putting a ton in the box

It is a great accomplishment for Ray. And I'm excited for the next QB because none of the predecessors (and both have been absolutely great) have had an explosive back like him already in place when they took over. It should really help that offense continue to impose its will.

Lawry is a beast.

Hopefully he can still impose his will next year when defenses stack the box because we have a new quarterback.

If they stack the box next year, Bentley will absolutely kill them. I am so up for 2015 football.

Bentley will kill one on one coverages all day. He excels in pushing the ball down the sideline and will have Blair Roberts back along with many of the 2014 recruiting class he helped to keep intact that RS with him. Bentley is aggressive.

I know it is almost sacrilegious to talk this way, but I truly do not believe we will miss a beat with Bentley at QB next year. He is actually fortunate to have not been thrown into arena this year but to instead experience a redshirt season with Heinicke and this coaching staff. With Roberts, Pascal, Vaughn, Washington, England, Little, Duhart, Lowe, and so many others yet to step up, not to mention Lawry – I expect this offense to absolutely explode with Bentley at the controls.
