Something YOU Can Do: Counter-attacking Ray
Sometimes when you provide information, the other party unexpectedly returns the favor. I picked this up this morning:

Apparently the BBA statement is only a public part of the Watts PR offensive. It seems a number of names on that list have been writing to the News/al-dot-com editors to decry the bad treatment of Watts in the media and praise how great leaders make tough decisions (that last appears in all of Watts' efforts, which is why I'm pretty sure this spate of letters originates with him too).

You know what to do: let them know, calmly and with facts behind you, how much you appreciate the work of Scarbinsky, Whitmire, Archibald et al and the damage you believe Ray Watts has inflicted and will continue to inflict on the university and the city. There's no need to exaggerate; just tell the truth and provide useful links (not to their own stories; one would hope they saw those). The facts are unbelievably damning already.

*note: "Enterprise" in the news business means "stories the reporter goes out and finds on his/her own" That's exactly who we want studying this.
