Big Dom Update - sitting out
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee forward Dominic Woodson won't dress for Saturday's game with Kansas State after being excused from team activities this week to focus on academic obligations.

The school issued a statement Saturday saying Woodson wouldn't play against Kansas State because of the missed practice time. The release didn't offer any additional details.

Woodson, a 6-foot-10 sophomore, has averaged 3.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 12.0 minutes in his first season with Tennessee since transferring from Memphis.

He averaged 2.5 points and 1.9 rebounds for Memphis last season.

a big BUT, however, is I thought we did lose a player with the greatest upside on the team. jury's still out on that it seems. I hope he will see the light.

Kendren could well be our starting PG for the next 2 years and Woodson is STILL a total head-case at UT.
