So now we are down to 3 with two of the three possibly playing at other positions, newton at wr, pinkins at fb. Hope we get some good recruits this year.

Why do you say "down to three" at QB? Don't we still have Mike Rathe? That would be four - BM, SN, DP, & MR.

This news shouldn't be surprising. Swygert would never be in contention for a starting position @ USC, & he wants to play on Saturdays. Bad luck w/ his knee is the culprit here. Nothing more.
