Memphis Tigers and the 'Eye of Thundera'
We're all cats here and all pull for the team.

Throughout the recent years, many of us Thundercats have been deemed terms which attack our allegiance however it was taxing explaining to the masses our gift....

Sight Beyond Sight. Allow me to explain:

Early on, Pastner's team was competent defensively and exude cohesion offensively. This however was a product of Josh inhereting Cal's remaining players who already understood how to play team defense and offense.

Next, Pastner flourished by recruiting virtually the Memphis Magic aau squad. This meant players like JJ, CC, Adonis, Black all had time together playing hoops. Any shortcomings in the coaching could still be overcome simply via familiarity with one another.

This year however, there's not that connection stated above. This crop will have to be taught how to perform together defensively and offensively from ground up; if the logic is flawed, the results will be minimal.

What about the record of Pastner winning the most games in his first 5 years... -- Again, a product of "in the right place at the right time. CUSA was the weakest any league Memphis had been in ever. Add to that, he coaches in an era were coaches play more games annually and the recipe was just right.

All cats (no matter how much it is explained to the Wiley-cats and Cheetarahs) do not acquire the gift of Sight Beyond Sight at the same time but eventually the gift is revealed....
