The fact that I never received 1 phone call or email from the National Alumni Society urging me to voice my concern of the potential of losing football at UAB.

The lawmakers who stood idly by and did nothing and said nothing. No more letters, resolutions... Do Something!

I will never forget…
Those who knew this was going on months ago and said/did absolutely nothing to stop it.

I will never forget…
The media who stood with us… and will never forget those who refused to say something when they had the platform to do so.

I will never forget… UAB Blazer Football!

We will be back. When this shitstorm is over and new leadership is in place and bear Jr is off the board we will be better than ever

I think you may underestimate what legislators have done and are doing on our behalf. You don;t get the Alabama constitution changed overnight. We may have lost this major battle, but the war to #FreeUAB can still be won.

I'll never forget the cowardly AD who never spoke up or the bastard son of a drunk who hated UAB football who got his way.

I will never forget the Blazer Women, athletic and spirit teams, who stood and fought for their university with unbridled ferocity while UAB's most visible men's team and their coaches . . . were nowhere to be found.

+1 the Men's teams lack of solidarity with the Women's teams statement is something I'll never understand.

I am sorry you have to go through this ordeal. I hope you can stay in CUSA because ODU used to have a good rivalry with you in basketball in the days we were both in the Sun Belt.

When you shut down blazernation, did you shut down the pickem contests as well. If so, I am very disappointed as it was lots of fun and I was doing well.

Yes, for now I'm done. My heart is not in it. It would become a job at this point. My hobby from this point forward will be seeking the resignation of Ray Benedict Watts.

Looking up at the score board and going "who is Baylor? They suck!" or watching hackney stiff arm the TCU player
Going to my first away game at UGA and screaming my head off
screaming my head off at Callaway because he kept putting the kicker in (it wasn't the kicker's fault)
The first win against USM and Joe Webb running out of his shoes
Or taking my sons to their first football game at legion Field and their last UAB game at USM

Joe Webb ran out of his shoes verses Memphis.

My nephew making back to back tackles on a goal line stand against Houston. They beat the piss out of us anyway but still won't forget.
