SI open floor podcast with Kent Bazemore. This is a lengthy, but great interview by Lee Jenkins. Kent gives so much love to ODU (around the 10:37 mark), and there's a good segment where he discusses the departure of Demarre Carroll from the Hawks.

Rumors that the Hawks are going to be broken up before the trade deadline--Horford and Korver rumored to be on the block.

Bazemore obviously doesn't share a skillset with those guys, but that would be a lot of offense and touches leaving town, opening up more for Bazemore.

Should we change the name if this thread to "Kent Bazemore NBA updates"? The title refers to a play he had last year but we always come here to discuss things about him that have nothing to do with that said play (including myself). I like keeping up with him as he is our only alumni in the NBA and he has far surpassed any expectations we or NBA scouts had of him.

And besides, when has a thread on this forum not gone off the rails from time to time? lol
