Tomorrow - A new petition
Tomorrow - Call Robert Bentley's office and demand the dismissal on Paul Bryant Jr., Finis St. John & Joe Espy from the Board of Trustees.

Post the link and someone will make sure it's on the Memphis board. Hell, go around posting it on every board you can find. Whatever the team doesn't matter. I'll help you.

Were Dr.Dr. not a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Greene Group, he doesn't have the authority to remove Trustees. There doesn't seem to be much of anything that can remove a Trustee from the Board, including criminal indictment and conviction. But we needn't worry, since as the Board's manual states:

Members of governing boards and senior administrators of institutions of higher education
hold positions of public trust of high order, requiring unquestioned confidence in their
professional integrity by all the institution's constituencies. Responsible management of
institutional affairs requires that their decisions are based solely on their understanding of
what is in the best interest of the institution, uncluttered by any other considerations and
unencumbered by conflicting obligations or interests.

Whew. I'm glad I know that now. I'm sure their canonization will soon follow their demise, which I pray is right soon.
