I'm sorry, but why did he say what he did to ESPN, then? unless they pulled those quotes out of thin air.
Don't start BSing us now, Coach.

What's really sad is Coach Clark is lobbying CUSA for a bowl bid instead of the gutless wonder Mackin . Wonder if Mackin is so much of a sissy coward he'd sell out his family for a few bucks from his sugar daddy lil bear.sorry I'd wish Mackin,Watts and the 3 BOT turds would venture out in a boat in the Amazon without the plug.

I would have to say the answer is test to that question about Mackin.

The answer is Clark is just as confused about this whole situation as the rest of us! Things seem to be flip-flopping back-and-forth from "bright future ahead" to "it's all over" every few hours, and it's bemusing to anyone caught up in the middle of it! At least had this happened this time last year, it would be all doom and gloom, no questions asked, but now we have the even more heart-wrenching aspect of getting our hopes up every few hours, only to get them dashed in the next few!

I believe Coach Clark said he thinks it (shutting down) will happen unless something happens to prevent it (i.e. meetings with Watts, trustees, and an out pouring of support), and ESPN quoted him as saying it was going to happen.

As a result, it may have been the best thing to get things stirred up.
I don't think he intentionally said anything like that. Probably misquoted.

I would have to say the answer is YES to that question about Mackin.

He's got nothing to lose by under these circumstances. If this was his intention, I have no problem with it, his so called bosses aren't playing fair, why should he after this?
