65-50 after the free throws.

UT turns it over and Arizona scores.

65-52 and Ana is at the line after a Wildcats foul.

What a great weekend for the Rockets.

Victories over ACC and PAC12 teams, with 2 players out with injuries and another not at 100%. Freshmen made great contributions and got a lot of valuable experience.

And Inma ... 48 points. Senior leadership!!

Inma for the tourney, 48 points, 14 assists, 12 boards, and 3 steals (assuming Live Stats is correct for the AZ game)

oh, and only 18-18 from the line.

Per Jim Heller she has not missed a free throw this season!

You are right! Isn't if fun to watch? Nice to see positive comments being posted on here now. The young players will continue to mature with each game. The best is yet to come. Thanks for your postings.

Who else from UT will be on the all-tournament team?

Just looking at the numbers for the two games I'm going with Rasmussen and Capotosto on the all-tourney team in addition to Inma as MVP.

I assume they'll announce an all-tournament team after the Virginia-Florida International game.

Ok. I'll admit it. I think I bought the wrong "fan plan". What a great 2 games for the Lady Rockets! If you would have predicted that at this point they would be outperforming the men's team--and it's not even close-I would never have believed it!

RE: WBB: Toledo-Arizona game thread
Arizona is picked to finish dead last in the PAC-12 so I don't want to read too much into all of this, but still any win over the power conferences is a big win and this one was by a very comfortable margin at that. I would put it as the WBB equivalent to a football win over Iowa State by a couple of scores.

Moving Inma to the point appears to have significantly improved the team's performance and they may actually do a lot better this year than most people expected. The team really needed a freshman to really step up and play MAC All Freshman team type ball and so far Rasmussen has been doing just that.

They are still a very young team with a lot of room for improvement so by the end of the season they may be very good indeed. I also liked the fact that Elena came in and shot 2 for 2 for 5 points in very little floor time. If she can ever get past the injury bug I think she has the potential to be an efficient and major scorer for the team.

Inma and Rasmussen were on the all-tourney team. Didn't hear the MVP, but had to be Inma.
