I think the announcers made a bigger deal about this than anything. Yeah, it appears that Soto was out of line and took a stupid penalty. Then Thomas did what leaders are supposed to do on the unit - calm their teammate down. Of course, Soto then turned his anger towards Thomas.

Afterwards, it appeared that they were alright. These squabbles happen with teammates sometimes.

Yea it was nothing to me. If anything, Miami's intimidation tactics worked. They're the type of program that gets under a teams skin and causes them to take a stupid penalty. And I agree that Thomas did was a Sr. leader is supposed to do. My only beef with the situation is that Chryst/House put Soto back in the game the following series. I think he could've been benched another series. I just chalk it up as sh*t happens.
