Don't worry, we'll head to a bowl soon enough.
We'll win that, too.
Stop whining, Cajun fans congratulated you and returned the jab. Now go back to playing your video games junior.

We won the conference.... ULL* finished 2nd. End of story.
* did not play Ga Southern but did lose by 19 to App st. Who Ga Southern beat by 20.
You guys keep using that reference, not only did those two games occur at the opposite end of the season, but that App team was polar opposite. It is just weak and proves nothing.

I'd never would have thought that I would rather have Liberty in the league than God's greatest gift to football. I feel for the App St fans who have had to deal with group from GaSo.
Insufferable group of fans.

What?! Beating you by a 20 spot proves nothing?
Do you proofread this stuff before you hit post?
Im confused apparently. I didn't know the date on the schedule had anything to do with the W or L next to it? Was it a suprise for your guys? Did they not know until Thursday am there was a game?
There is a lot of around here of late, and personally I think its fantastic.

I like UL. Can't wait to start playing them. They are almost as vocal as GS fans when boasting about past accomplishments.
Seriously though. They are currently the top dog in the SBC when you factor in the entire athletic program.

So you want to be serious about this?
Nothing is incorrect about ULaLa going 3-0 in bowls, I watched all three of them and cheered for ULaLa in each game and celebrated when they won.
With how bad the SBC bowl record was back in it's first seasons, winning three bowl games is good for the league, but at many colleges across the country is enough to get a coach fired.
I'm happy for ULaLa for winning three bowls but that's not all that impressive. App State's 3-Peat in the FCS is far more impressive.

Insufferable group of fans.
Almost as bad as UL-L* and Tx St. Fans....
UL-L* fans thinking.... "you guys aren't really the SBC champs because you didn't play us.. the Almighty, unbeatable, 3-0 in bowl games the last 20 years. Just because we have never won a SBC title outright.... we are still better than you."
*Did not play Ga Southern but lost to App St by 19 who Ga Southern beat by 20.
Come on now. No one has said you're not the Sunbelt Champs.
Some of you guys really are wrapped too tight and the rest of us recognize that and are yanking your collective chains.
Lemme explain. It's obvious that some of your fans are on the verge of a meltdown because you won the conference but now have to sit at home while other Sunbelt teams, perhaps some you beat, and others you did not play, will enjoy the national attention and prestige of a bowl game.
I'm sorry, but that was the rule when you joined the conference. Appeal the rules, appeal the denials, appeal till you've run out of appeals and then accept it. You'll have a chance next year to defend your Sunbelt crown and earn the opportunity to play in a bowl.
Meanwhile, we appreciate your support for the New Orleans- bound history-making Cajun squad.

When is the NO bowl scheduled for? I haven't seen ULL play in a bowl game yet, so I guess this year will be the first I will pay attention.

20 December tentatively scheduled for a team from the MWC.
Our first year we beat San Diego State on a last second 50 yard field goal. Watch this as our radio announcer Jay "jaybird" Walker goes nuts:

The following year we beat East Carolina and then Tulane, both representing C-USA.
