UTEP BB to face a couple of Unbeatens
First its was Xavier they were 5-0

up next for UTEP

UDUBB is 5-0
Colorado St is 5-0 just won the Great Alaska Shootout
NMSU is 3-3 but still tough
Incarnate Word even they could be 5-0 when they face UTep
SELA they not doing well

Then its ARizona they are 6-0. They have 2 tough games left before they come to El paso. They got UM and the Zags. Iim hoping utep and zona can both be Unbeaten when they play each other

RE: UTEP BB to face a couple of Unbeatens
Colorado St. was gifted the Great Alaska Shootout by UCSB last night with one of the dumbest plays I've ever seen. UCSB has just hit a 3 to tie the game with about 7 seconds left. As the Rams brought the ball up the court, a UCSB player tried to steal the ball at midcourt and got called for a foul with 5 seconds left. CSU went to the line, made both, and won the game 65-63.

Could the miners break the top 25 before they play AZ or not until after they win?

That ODU win over VCU was also impressive....

So far, I see the teams in this order:
- UTEP/ODU
- Charlotte/La Tech
-
- Most of CUSA
-
- WKU
- Rice/FAU

Still, no reason for CUSA to secure 2 bids (maybe 3, depending on La Tech or Charlotte's performance from this point on).

This is a tough one. We don't like it when 3 or 4 teams are bottom dwellers. Yet, for CUSA to get more than one bid, two or three teams have to dominate the conference. Not enough wins to go around without a few teams hitting the floor. I would love to see CUSA get two teams into the big dance. Sadly, I don't think two 14-2 CUSA teams get in. I think it would have to be a 16-0 team, and another team that upsets and wins the conference tourney.

Agree. Charlotte still plays GW, Georgetown, and Georgia Tech. La Tech plays Cuse and NC State.

Some opportunities for good wins there.

ODU doesn't have much of an OOC schedule left, so they just need to avoid WTF losses. Georgia State is the best OOC opponent left for the Monarchs. They'll probably end up top 100, so that is an important game for ODU IMO to really shore up their OOC resume.

The conference as a whole doesn't look so great right now, but we still have 4 teams with hopes for having an at large worthy OOC resume. I guess WKU still could as well, but they'll need to go undefeated the rest of the way OOC with wins over Miss and Louisville. Unlikely, I'd say.

The Rpi mean very little right now, but moves a lot in these early season games. Once conference play begins because of the interrelate relationship the Rpi is almost set in stone.

ODU might not a many opportunities left in the schedule, but a few wins van go a long way in the end. LSU, VCU & Richmond could go on to have great seasons, in Highly recognized conference.

At RPI 14 http://warrennolan.com/basketball/2015/rpi, thing could be worse.
