embarrassing yes, but definitely a good situation for the younger guys to learn the D1 game.

I'm sure it's been posted, but has UAB played UCLA before? I assume so with the Bartow connection.

No we wouldn't have been better off. If you want to belong on the same floor as these teams, you line up and take your licks. In the meantime, our guys are learning what it takes to play at this level. I personally want to see more back to back to back ranked opponents for UAB, not less.

Our young guys really are the bright spots on this team. It bodes well for the future. Cokley and Norton both playing well tonight.

We really need Washington to get back on his game.

He shot 48% last year. He's shooting 31% this year.

Yes, but nothing related to any Bartow connection. He didn't have too many connections there when he left.

We have played them twice and lost. In 1990, we played them in the NCAA tournament at the Omni in Atlanta and lost in the first round by 12.

In 1997, we lost by 14 in second round of the Great Alaska Shootout

Why are their hands not up on defense? Why are we just sitting around looking, waiting for them to get the rebound?
