They just happened to get crushed. No panic at all. Just standing there, minding my own business than BOOM out of the blue with no one around I get crushed to death.

As for the Macy's Baloon incidents prior, that's apples to oranges.

Think harder. I'm sure the balloons in the vids you watched were not deflated because projectiles (meaning rockets, bullets etc) were fired from the mass of people. Which is the scenario being discussed.
